Hi, welcome to the official Penny Games Club UK website. We're a non-profit, grass roots organisation that exists to promote the five penny games, and also Roof Ball, Shoot, Spinmaster and Touchdown. These games were developed in the West Midlands, England, during the years from 1971 to 2002.
We hope our little site might inspire you to join the penny game community
Best Wishes
David Rose

Of all the games presented here, Penny Black remains the most widely played; so, if you're not already
familiar with it then we suggest that you take a look at that one first.
So
surf on dudes, and whether you intend to play competitively or just
for fun, at school, at home, or at the pub, remember...
Just FLICK IT!

How to Make Each Game |
Make Play Enjoy |
|
|
These days the Blue and Black are played mostly on square boards, and as a large hardware store will cut your wood veneered sheet to the right size you have no excuse for not making one. Penny Red and Penny White boards are also extremely easy to make. Roof Ball and Spinmaster are more difficult, but Shoot and Touchdown are easy because of the downloads that can be printed out.

The Penny Game Boards - Which One Is For You? |
Lasts a life time |
|
|
This section is limited to the five penny games boards and the required stickers.
We hope that this section will help you to decide which board or boards will suit your purposes best. A photograph of each board is provided with its dimensions, useful notes and sometimes a gentle warning. All the pieces of equipment shown have been made in exactly the same way that is recommended on this web site.

We're
desperate to find the person after whom a Golden
Guy - like a 147 in snooker, see Skill Awards - is named. His first name was Guy and he worked
as a Lab Technician in Hill Top High School in the 1980s. Any information
would be gratefully received.
According to the inventor he's the best Penny Black player he's ever seen.
